Asparagus

This highly anticipated Spring crop is provided by Moon on the Meadow Farm. Due to our city land lease, we have not planted this perennial crop. And from time to time, we do collaborate with other farmers to bring you great produce and round out our offerings. We will always give credit where it's due! Asparagus is best cooked quickly to avoid overcooking: high temp roasting, grilling or sauteeing. It pairs well with (green) garlic, olive oil and lemon. This crop is best used soon after harvest but can be kept longer if kept upright with the cut ends sitting in water in a jar in the refrigerator.
