Honeycrisp have a sweet taste with very little sour acid when fully ripe. Crisp and juicy with a loud crunch when you bite into them. They are best eaten fresh out of hand, chilled, or can add a great crunch to green salads and slaws. They hold their shape well if you heat them, though people usually buy them for fresh snacking due to their high price.
South Baldwin Farms does not follow organic practices, but they reduce pesticide usage via a variety of integrated pest management techniques. In addition, some of the pesticides they use are organic (OMRI certified), and they use drip irrigation to reduce water usage.
