Autumn Crisp has a unique sweet-tart flavor, with a crisp & juicy white flesh and a yellow base skin color with a red blush. Extra crisp and juicy. Excellent both for eating fresh and for cooking, a great choice for salads as they are slower to brown after slicing than any other apple. Contains more vitamin C than many other apple varieties.
South Baldwin Farms does not follow organic practices, but they reduce pesticide usage via a variety of integrated pest management techniques. In addition, some of the pesticides they use are organic (OMRI certified), and they use drip irrigation to reduce water usage.
