Mellowfields Farm is a four-acre, diversified vegetable farm located in Lawrence, Kansas. We’ve been growing food for our community since 2009, with a focus on consistency, freshness, and vegetables harvested for peak flavor and nutrition. We also prioritize building soil health and maintaining a thoughtful scale.​

We’re Jessi and Kevin, the farmer instigators of a small, skilled crew. We’re creators at heart, and we love making something timeless and useful: food. What might look like low-return, demanding work from the outside is, for us, the challenge that satisfies our need to build, problem-solve, and contribute something tangible to our community.

We sell directly to customers through our Webstore and Farm Share, and also supply a small number of locally owned grocers and restaurants in Lawrence.
