Green Smoothie

 

This is a great way to use up extra greens.

 

 

Ingredients:

 

​2 handfuls of greens

 

Liquid (milk: almond, rice, soy, cow; or apple juice)

 

1 T nut butter

 

1/2 C frozen blueberries

 

1-2 frozen bananas

 

 

 

Process:

 

Add 2 handfuls of thoroughly washed spinach or other non-lettuce to blender.

 

Add liquid. Blend until smooth.

 

Add nut butter. Blend.

 

Add frozen banana(s). Blend.

 

Add frozen berries. Blend.

 

Pour and enjoy!
